At Riva Motorsports Miami, we're pretty impressed with the 2022 lineup of Scarab boats. Even the base model, the Scarab 165 ID, has plenty to offer: a five-person capacity, a 20-gallon fuel capacity, and 170 HP plus a whole host of features that come on the standard model such as cruise control and USB outlets.

Each Scarab boat is customizable, so you can always craft one that's truly your own. Options include upgrading to 230 HP and 300 HP engines plus a premium sound package and 11 color choices. Right now, we'd rather tell you more about what makes Scarab's boats so awesome. 

Jet Engine

Scarab boat models are known for their superior-quality engines. This year's editions include the Rotax 4-TEC engine, each with a collection of features that impact performance, safety, and handling. Closed-loop engine cooling uses external water to keep engine temperatures within a safe range. Low-speed maneuverability features include docking mode, a lateral thrust control system, and single-lever control. The lateral thrust control also makes reversing faster for easier docking. The 4-TEC engine's drive shaft sleeve prevents debris from wrapping around the shaft and sidelining your boat.

Detailed Craftsmanship

Scarab boats are also famous for their world-class craftsmanship. Constructed in Michigan, these boats incorporate handcrafted materials and thoughtfully selected components. Every detail is carefully thought out from the spring-reinforced seats with adjustable backrests to the durable stainless steel on the controls and instrument panel. With over 40 years of crafting and manufacturing expertise, it's no surprise that boats built by Scarab offer long lifetimes of enjoyment. 

Intelligent Neutral and Reverse

Intelligent Neutral and Reverse is another cornerstone feature of Scarab boats. With iNR, you can shift easily from forward to reverse. That's because iNR is a completely electronic system rather than the lever-and-cable setup of traditional jet propulsion boats. Also, iNR uses stationary neutral positioning, which allows you to adjust the craft's neutral position at a moment's notice.

We'd also like to mention that Scarab's low-speed maneuverability comes from a combination of iNR with stationary neutral positioning and lateral thrust control. These and other features are available right at your fingertips, thanks to Scarab's Touch Screen Command Center. Key information such as air and water temperatures is available at a glance, plus you can easily switch modes from the controls: boat-ski, cruising, docking, and cruise control profiles.

Limited Warranty

Every Scarab boat comes with a lifetime limited warranty covering structural components of the deck and hull. Your factory warranty lasts for three years for materials, labor, and most components. Scarab also has a five-year warranty against osmotic blistering, but your boat is also protected by an engineered vinyl ester anti-blistering barrier coat. As a first owner, you also benefit from the lifetime structural hull and deck warranty. This warranty is transferrable to the next owner of your boat.
